Format a Price

To format usertext as a price field, first you must insert your price as usertext (ex. 1.99) (see insert usertext). Then double-click on the usertext field to open the 'Object properties'.

Click on the ' + ' next to 'Drl Format' (this will expand the catagory). Then click on 'AsText' beside 'Treatment'. Now, in the drop-down box, choose 'AsSplitPrice'. Your price should now look like the following image.

Formatted Price - $1.99

Now if you change the text to ' 2/5 ' your price should look like the following image.

Split Price - 2 for $5.00

By adjusting some of the 'Drl Format' properties, you can adjust the look of the formatted prices and make it look something like one of these examples.
